HOW TO

HOW TO APPLY

1. PREPARE YOUR NATURAL HAIR

If you have long hair, it is recommended to braid it or wrap it flat against your head to create a smooth base. If you have short hair, you can use a wig cap to help keep your hair in place.

2. PUT ON A WIG CAP

Wear a flesh-colored or nude wig cap that matches your skin tone to create a smooth surface for the wig. Ensure the wig cap covers your hairline and is secure.

3. PREPARE THE LACE FRONT WIG

Gently comb or brush the wig to remove any tangles. If necessary, you can trim the excess lace along the hairline, leaving about a 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) of lace.

4. APPLY ADHESVIE OR WIG TAPE

Depending on your preference, you can use a wig adhesive or wig tape to secure the lace front wig. Apply a thin layer of adhesive along your hairline or use small strips of wig tape, following the manufacturer's instructions for application and drying time.

5. POSITION THE WIG

Place the wig on your head, aligning the front edge of the wig's lace with your natural hairline. Gently press the lace onto the adhesive or wig tape.

6. SECURE THE WIG

Use clips or adjustable straps (if present) on the wig to secure it in place. Make sure the wig fits comfortably and securely.

7. BLEND THE WIG WITH YOUR NATURAL HAIR

Use a comb or your fingers to blend your natural hair with the wig. You can also use styling tools like curling irons or flat irons to create the desired look.

8. STYLE THE WIG

Depending on the type of wig, you can style it just like natural hair. Be mindful of any heat limitations and use heat-protectant products when applying heat.
